The purpose of this blog is to engage with members of the public about their use of technology. Dr Genevieve Bell and Adelaide Thinkers in Residence (ATIR) encourage you to post your comments on the blog and welcome your feedback. Comments that don’t comply with our Moderation Policy won’t be published to the blog. If we become aware of a published comment that doesn’t comply with the Moderation Policy, we reserve the right to remove it. If you would like feedback about your contribution please provide us with an email addresss.

To make this an experience that is productive for everyone, please ensure that you don’t post any material that a reasonable person would consider:

  • includes any abusive, obscene, indecent or offensive language
  • is defamatory, abusive, harassing or hateful
  • that you do not have the necessary rights, licences and consents to post, including the right to copy images or work of other creators
  • constitutes spam, unauthorised advertising or solicits
  • contains long embedded URLs
  • invades anyone’s privacy or impersonates anyone
  • is far off-topic
  • encourages conduct that may or would constitute a criminal offence or give rise to civil liability, or that otherwise violates any local, state, national or international law or regulation anywhere in the world, or
  • the comment appears to contain irrelevant or excessive links or appears to contain code.

We won’t edit comments to remove objectionable content (the whole comment will be removed if that is the case), so please ensure that your comment contains none of the above.

Your comments are welcome at any time, however, given the need to manage resources appropriately, the moderating and posting of comments will generally occur during regular business hours, Monday to Friday. Comments submitted after hours or on weekends will be read and posted as early as possible the next business day.
